Below is the painting from last post as I posted it only a couple of hours ago. They are a bit different as to both painting techniques and colors. The newest one (the top painting) is made very quickly, as I don´t have much strength due to a bad cold.

DeleteHi Catharina,
ReplyDeleteNice to see your beautiful paintings again, thanks for sharing with us. Very interesting techniques and colours. Really both paintings are full of love, peace, and happiness feelings !!!
I hope you are getting better !!!
Thank you! :)
DeleteYou get such nice effects with the watercolors, Catharina! I really love the tree on the bank. Such a peaceful feeling! Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sherry for leaving such a nice coment. And for your visit. You are wellcome!
DeleteHello Catharina:) Reflections in the water require much exercise. I'm sure you will succeed. The latest painting already looks much nicer than the first. Have you even looked at the Blog that Tito mentioned in your previous post? I did. Very interesting and educational! Maintain!!:)xx
ReplyDeleteYes I have looked some at the blog Tito mentioned before, and I will go back for some more. There were some beautyful waters! But I can not imagine that I can ever paint waters like that. But I would like too! I think I will save the link to this artist, so that I not loose it! Thanks for comenting Renate! :)
Deletehope you feel better soon catharina ... my first impression was a fantastic view from above ... sea, trees and a foot path with steps
ReplyDeletehaha Jane! Those steps are in the water beside the tree reflection. It´s the light showing the colour of the sand in the very shallow and sunlit water. But it´s up to every viewer to interpret the painting the way he/she like. Thank you Jane for your kind comment and visit here!
DeleteFirst of all, I'm sorry you're suffering and hope you feel better soon, it's the time of year for colds etc. I've enjoyed looking at the last three posts, I think you have achieved some lovely, subtle effects, I really wish I had more techniques in my approach! I had to laugh with you getting angry with a picture and taking out your frustration, I think it's something we all experience, we've all been there! I love this most recent picture with it's spontaneous feel leaning towards abstraction. Nice work!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and kind comment Kev!
DeleteWell sometimes I have to laugh too at my own dissaster and way of handling it ;)
See you around my friend!
I like this last beautiful looser version of the tree! Well done Chatarina. Hope you will get better soon! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI am getting better now, and will most probably go to work tomorrow again. Glad you like it. :) Take care Tito and thank you for your visit!
DeleteI love both versions Catharina. I think you did an excellent job capturing the feeling of light and reflections on the water and just beautiful all around spot. I hope you are better soon, take care!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you like my paintings Celia, and thank you for your kind comment :) Getting better and better and will probably go to work tomorrow again :) Take care and see you soon!
