But then I thought again, that you learn so much from your mistaces, so why not showing them too. And maybe letting others learn from them also. And showing others my progress in my learningprocess, my ups and downs.Catharina Engberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06954431421201427239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37964660165082703.post-9265135123353904582012-07-10T23:14:00.908+02:002012-07-10T23:14:00.908+02:00I like your painting very much indeed Catharina. By the way: have you seen the link to from where I took the referencephoto for my painting? I am very happy to have found all these wonderful free photos! Talking about my painting and details: this time I made some details of the bricks with a riggerbrush, and after that I painted a thin layer of blue on top as shadow. That made the "riggerlines" soften alot.<br />Thank you for your comment Michael :) and wellcome back! (By the way: have a look at the artist Nora MacPhail´s paintings. You can get there by using a link in my blogroll.)Catharina Engberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06954431421201427239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37964660165082703.post-26003699290940873842012-07-09T10:32:09.584+02:002012-07-09T10:32:09.584+02:00I like it, Catharina! I have seen the original photograph and you did a wonderful job, leaving out details! This a lovely painting of an old bridge and you have captured it really well. You have a lovely fresh style all of your own, Catharina - so stop worrying about too much/too little detail and keep going!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14423986562925121890noreply@blogger.com
