Below is the painting from last post as I posted it only a couple of hours ago. They are a bit different as to both painting techniques and colors. The newest one (the top painting) is made very quickly, as I don´t have much strength due to a bad cold.

  10. Hello Catharina:) Reflections in the water require much exercise. I'm sure you will succeed. The latest painting already looks much nicer than the first. Have you even looked at the Blog that Tito mentioned in your previous post? I did. Very interesting and educational! Maintain!!:)xx

    1. Yes I have looked some at the blog Tito mentioned before, and I will go back for some more. There were some beautyful waters! But I can not imagine that I can ever paint waters like that. But I would like too! I think I will save the link to this artist, so that I not loose it! Thanks for comenting Renate! :)

    1. haha Jane! Those steps are in the water beside the tree reflection. It´s the light showing the colour of the sand in the very shallow and sunlit water. But it´s up to every viewer to interpret the painting the way he/she like. Thank you Jane for your kind comment and visit here!

  12. First of all, I'm sorry you're suffering and hope you feel better soon, it's the time of year for colds etc. I've enjoyed looking at the last three posts, I think you have achieved some lovely, subtle effects, I really wish I had more techniques in my approach! I had to laugh with you getting angry with a picture and taking out your frustration, I think it's something we all experience, we've all been there! I love this most recent picture with it's spontaneous feel leaning towards abstraction. Nice work!!!
