...I thought that I should make my own candel by using the "leftovers" from bought candles. There are allways leftovers and I don´t feel good about throwing away. I melted it down in a jar. I put the jar in a pan with boiling water and let it slowly melt. After that I poured it in an empty milk-box. I used ordinary yarn, made of 100% cotton, tied it to something small and heavy- (a small screw maybe?) -and dipped it in the melted candel a couple of times. Last I let the yarn sink down in the middle of the melted candel until the heavy end reached the bottom. After this you only have to bend the yarn and let it stay on top of a stick. I put a wooden stick that I use for cooking and let it lay on top of the milk-box, and just hooked the yarn around it abit. After that it takes some time for the candle to get cold and hard again. Don´t forget to take away the paper-box before you use the candle!
