  7. Hi Catharina, this kind of landscape is one of my preferred subject. I like your wet on wet version, a beautiful nordic image. Hug.

    1. I also like alot wet into wet, and a misty feeling in paintings. Hope I can learn how to paint them. Well, just practise practise practise. Nothing else to do are there! Thank you so much for your comment Tito. Hug.

  8. Wow!! This is amazing, what an atmosphere!!! And it was fun as well, it doesn't get much better than that. Don't worry about your style changing, I think it's good to produce variety in your work, otherwise some people may get bored. They certainly won't get bored with your art. Superb!!!

  10. Catharina - I love your fun while you learn...I enjoy having fun too with the watercolors...they are so unpredictable which is what makes them so challenging as well. Enjoyed reading through your last two posts...whatever your style it looks wonderful to me. Hope you have a beautiful week-end and keep having fun. Isn't that what art is all about anyway??

  12. Hello Catharina:) I love this painting! It's beautiful loose and full of experiments. Don't worry about sellers, paint and exercise as you want to. Buyers will come, no matter what you paint! I think you did a great job on this one. Very nice effects. Hugs:)xx

  14. Do you know what Catharina... I heard it too. Keep to one style if you want to sell. My thinking: it is a boring and uninspiring approach. So I do as I please most of the time. I aspire to improve and that means trying out different things just like you have. I assure you sales will happen just the same. Love these new paintings of yours. Even the boat with the splash of yellow further up. Keep enjoying what you are doing... :-)

  15. I think too that it would be boring to paint the same all the time. And I also think that you learn more from doing different kind of paintings. You force yourself into new grounds so to say, and let yourself make new mistaces. And that is the best way of learning isn´t it!
