I am allways using Winsor & Newtons top quality
"Artist watercolour". This painting is made of the primary
colours plus Paynes Gray only.
I forgot to take WIP photos, sorry. But I can
atleast say this: I started up with painting the
tulips very quickly. After they dried I mixed a light
green/yellow colour and painted the background, and let dry.
The background is after that painted negativly with
Paynes Gray to shape the leaves.

ReplyDeleteCatharina send me your email address and I will send you the pattern for that easel. Years ago somebody shared that pattern in a workshop. I honestly don't k ow where it came from. Is really nice tho because it fits in your suitcase or art case etc. not sure I should put it on my blog. There is one online. Lola like it was copies and them changed up a bit. Actually I have 2 diff styles. You can use heavy foam core. Heavy cardboard or thin wood.
Thank you Suzy! I just sent it to you.
