I have seen the most beautyful painting!
It is "The sky is the limit" - painted by Fernand Thienpondt.

Thank you Hanneke for sharing this post with us!
Now to my finished painting of the tulips from the latest WIP:
Titel:Tulip potpurie , 40 x 30 cm,
Support: Daler Rowney, Fine Cold pressed NOT 300gr.
I kind of like the way that the leaves are framing the tulips
in a soft way, letting the tulips be the center of interrest.
And the leaves at the low left did balance the painting.
I am satisfied! It was good I took it slow this time.
I hope you enjoy it too!

DeleteUn contraste muy bello, te ha quedado una acuarela preciosa me encanta el color. Enhorabuena! Un abrazo.
ReplyDeleteGracias Jesús por tu comentario. Me alegra que te guste la pintura.
DeleteThank you for visiting my blog, Catharina. You are much better at tulips than I am--I like the dimension in these--it's almost as is they're made of cut paper!
ReplyDeleteOh I don´t know about that! I would like to paint more lose, but it is really difficult. Have to practise. Thank you for your kind comment Laura, and wellcome back!
DeleteExcelente trabajo, felicitaciones por el resultado de estos tulipanes tan trabajados
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Beatriz! :)
DeleteAnother lovely tulip painting!! I like the way you have left some white paper in places, that really gives it life and is something I struggle with. Also the background is just right, it's subtle yet supports the tulips well. Well done!!!
ReplyDeleteI also have struggled with leaving some arias of the paper white. It´s not that easy, I know. But with a lot of practise we will both soon manage that too. Hopefully! :D
ReplyDeleteI am satisfied with the soft background leaves too, I am glad you like it also :)
Thank you!
oh I love this!
ReplyDeleteOh that made me happy! Thank you! :)
