I feel (at least for now) that this painting is finished. I like the colours!
Last paintings I have been trying different colours from before, and also
to let them dry before next layer of colour on top. Optic mixing instead of
mixing before applied to the paper. I think I get more light in
the paintings this way.
Hiding in the leaves: 45 x 30 cm.

Your control of wet in wet is lovely to see. Great painting. Oh, and I had a look at the High Chapparel Wild West you suggested. Looks great fun. Wish there was one here!

DeleteMy oldest daughter asked me if we could go there this summer, before she gets too old, beacause she loves it. So I think I will do that. Maybe I´ll see you there! ;)

ReplyDeleteYes never through away! It was only half made before. But I didn´t feel like continuing at the moment. So I put it away. Years ago! I´m sorry but I don´t remember what paper it was. I´ll think about that. Take care renate!
